Vacation – Duck NC

May has been a wild and crazy month!  We spent the first week of May in Duck, NC with some friends who generously shared their beach house for a week.  We had an awesome time, beautiful weather – 80s and 90s all week!  We got some sun, and some sun burn, did a little surf fishing, and enjoyed some much needed relaxation.  Since then we have had a family shoot and a wedding and have had tons of workflow and behind the scenes stuff.  We also moved! We have a great new loft-style apartment in a refurbished store-front building. It’s about 4 times the size of our last place.  We’re looking forward to sharing some of more recent work and will have some blog posts up soon.

He’s a picture I love from our vacation – the sun setting on the bay – you have to love the outer banks!

Assateague Island Wild Ponies

A few weeks ago Nadine and I had an engagement shoot at Assateague Island National Seashore. On top of stretching beaches, dunes and beautiful marshes the island has herds of wild ponies.  It was really foggy when we first got to the park, it made for some awesome shots.  It was cool to see, you could get amazingly close to some of the horses.  We’ll have Jill & Coard’s engagement shoot from the beach up soon, thanks for stopping by the GGP blog!

Event Coverage – LoveMercy Baltimore

This December Nadine and I provided photographic coverage for LoveMercy Baltimore.  Over 800 teens gathered together at the Hilton hotel and conference center to worship, hear some awesome speakers and bands and be challenged in their faith.  It was a great event to cover!

Snow Geese Migration

One morning last week we walked out our door and were greeted by this amazing spectacle. Snow Geese as far as the eye could see, in every direction! There were literally thousands of them. Between the sunrise, the flying geese and all the noise they were making it was pretty awesome. I felt like i was witnessing something prehistoric. My first instinct was to run back inside and grab my camera; here are a few favorites!

Love this last one, the dark sky is dynamic.  Hope you enjoy these as much as we did! – Kyle & Nadine
